The CTSA is a national consortium with the goal of transforming how clinical and translational research is conducted, ultimately enabling researchers to provide new treatments more efficiently and quickly to patients. Dr. Carpenter will explore how providers and caregivers support the active participation of children with asthma during medical visits. Dr. Betsy Sleath and Dr. Darren DeWalt will serve as Dr. Carpenter’s mentors on the project.
